The youth have been getting their hands in the dirt this past month, leading volunteers through transplanting, seeding, and composting tasks to ensure the farm is prepared for our upcoming harvest season. They learned about the composting process as they incorporated it into the soil. The youth also spent time volunteering with Farmshare and Community First to get to know more about our community and food access partners. Lastly, to celebrate the spirit of Halloween, the youth had some fun painting pumpkins and making scarecrows to protect the farm!
