It’s fall, y’all! This past month we’ve been busy preparing for the season, like with our farm team shaping our beds, and planting up a storm (tomatoes, root crops, leafy greens like kale, herbs, and summer and winter squash) and welcoming youth onto the farm with our youth programs starting for the season. We’re also very pleased to announce the new faces at Urban Roots, Micaela Buda, our new Steward and Database Coordinator, and Lucas Askew, our new Head Farmer! We’ve also been nominated for the Wheatsville Co-op’s Community Action program, where co-owners can vote for us or other Austin nonprofits until Tuesday, November 8th!
