Invest in Future Leaders by Helping Us on Amplify Austin Day

Confidence. Opportunity. Vulnerability. Community.

That’s what it takes to change lives, communities, and maybe even the entire food system!

Leading up to Amplify Austin Day, set for March 4-5, 2021, Urban Roots is amplifying youth stories that speak to the transformative power of food and farming. During Urban Roots Internships and Fellowships, youth learn and practice the tools of effective leadership which they will carry with them long after their time on the farm. We hope their stories will educate, resonate, and inspire you.

Your support helps our young leaders build stories of impact every day. After all, YOU are part of their Urban Roots stories. Urban Roots’ community of supporters (that’s you!) create unique leadership opportunities simply by interacting with Interns and Fellows, enjoying the produce they’ve grown, or making a gift toward their development.

On Amplify Austin Day, we’re inviting our community to invest in future leaders by helping us raise $20,000 for this summers’ Farm Internship Program. Gifts at every level will support leadership development by covering program costs from seeds to youth stipends. For more information on our Amplify Austin Day, or to make your gift early click here or visit https://www.amplifyatx.org/organizations/urban-roots-atx.

While the farm remains closed to the public, we hope that you will reflect on your Urban Roots stories and the difference you have made just by being you! Because of you, Urban Roots youth tap into their leadership skills, learn about agriculture and the food system, and that they can make a huge difference in their communities.

Will you make a gift today in support of this summer’s Farm Interns?
