A huge thank you and congratulations goes out to the Fall 2020 Fellows! All 10 fellows successfully completed the Food and Leadership Fellowship program in its entirety. The Fellows completed Urban Roots’ food justice workshop series and worked hard on the farm by seeding, transplanting, harvesting, and building produce boxes for GAVA throughout the fall to continue our efforts to nourish the community. Additionally, they were also able to hear from guest speakers in the Austin community; visit Serafina, a local community garden to volunteer; and they built really close bonds with each other. We are looking forward to seeing what great things they continue to do both personally and in our community!
